Archaeotag is being developed jointly by the Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Brno and the Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague.
Data sources
The controlled vocabulary, photographic data, and annotation methodology are provided by the Archaeological Information System of the Czech Republic (AIS CR), which both institutes co-operate. The game complements their professional annotation infrastructure with broader crowdsourcing.
